Paris Engineering is capable of providing is compaction testing for a range of applications such as highway and foundation construction. This is accomplished using a nuclear moisture density gauge which allows field readings to be compared to values obtained from other tests which have been conducted to generate a relative compaction (compaction ratio) or relative moisture (moisture content ratio). This may be coupled with onsite supervision of compaction procedures to ensure that differential or uneven settlement of the material does not occur. This is a highly suitable technology for many contractors in ensuring that the quality of work during foundation construction and filling operations is sufficiently controlled.
